kate spade perfection

While rummaging through my magazine archives this weekend, I came across this whimsical Kate Spade-designed bathroom in the October 2004 issue of House & Garden. I HAD to share it with all of you! If I weren’t moving (again) so soon, I would love to do something similar in my bathroom. Kate hired an artist friend of hers to stencil the silhouettes on the wall, but I don’t think it would be a difficult DIY. Maybe I can convince my parents to let me give their guest bathroom a “makeover” the next time I’m home (I was constantly redecorating our house as a child—they’re used to it). Even though it was done in 2004, I think this bathroom still qualifies as chic by today’s standards. What do you think?

I love it! Black, white & yellow is very chic! My bedroom is this color palate & it gives me great energy each morning I wake up in it & I suppose that this would give off a vibrant feeling in the bathroom as well. Love the silhouettes.
