unwrapped: note to self

(What could be a better holiday coundown than a bi-weekly guest series featuring my favorite
bloggers + their personal holiday wish list?! First up, We have Sarah Tolzman of Note To Self.
Tune in this Wednesday for the next chapter of Unwrapped!)

Hello, hello! My name is Sarah, I'm the authoress of a little blog, Note to Self, and Associate Designer for the lovely Matchbook magazine. When it comes to Christmas gifts, I'm rather content with books, classic movies and small keepsakes. But while we're wishing big (that's why blogs are fun, right?) I have to say, these items are definitely at the my top my holiday wish list. In no particular order...

 1. Robert Polidor's Versailles ($112)
Thanks to Sofia Coppola, I'm fascinated by the late Baroque art period. I could pour over this trilogy of Versailles restoration photographs for years.

 2. J.Crew Cece Ballet Flats ($128)
I have a pair of these from last season and have worn them into the ground. The newest colors would add a welcome punch to a day-to-day outfit.

3. The Metropolitan Museum of Art 2012 Desktop Calendar ($18)
My mother gives me this every year, and I just love it. It's also the only day-to-day calendar that I have ever remembered to keep up with!

4. Furbish Lacquer Boxes ($72-$115)
Everything in Jamie's shop is worth wishing for, especially these boxes (plus, orange is my favorite color. Don't tell Elle Woods.)

5. Lulu Frost Knot Earrings ($155)
I've been semi-obsessed with these earrings since making my Matchbook wish list. Pearls with some edge - they're so perfect!

6. Caran d'Ache Ballpoint Pens via Ann Mashburn ($20 each)
Who could not love writing with neon pens every day?

7. Kate Spade Dotty iPhone Case ($40)
The small touches of gold make the perfect amount of "flash" for me.

8. J.Crew Edie Purse ($238)
I've been in love with this purse since its release in July. In my mind, it's literally the perfect shoulder bag. The tan would match absolutely everything.

9. Kate Spade Snail Mail Cards ($25)
Wouldn't it be fun to make someone smile with these cards?

10. Le Creuset Cookware ($130+)
These are classics for the kitchen. I can see many tasty things coming out of these dishes!

Thank you for having me, Fallon! And happy holidays, everyone! x

Love! Miss Fallon I feel like it's been ages since I last commented, but I have of course been reading and loving your blog all along. "Unwrapped" - so smart! And this Sarah/Fallon collabo is just too great! XOXOXO
