the new yorker + j.crew's mickey drexler

I read the most fascinating article last night about Mickey Drexler, the chairman and C.E.O of J.Crew Group, Inc., in last week’s issue of the New Yorker. Although the issue is no longer for sale on the newsstands, you can purchase a digital copy on the New Yorker’s website. Mickey is quite the character. The article notes that he regularly makes announcements to the entire office over a loudspeaker-- hilarious!  Bonus: When you purchase the issue, you also gain access to an equally absorbing article about Tavi Gevinso. At $5.99, it’s so worth it! Trust :)

You must read this article from the June issue of WSJ magazine

There is also a great video on the website...working at j.crew seems dreamy, doesn't it?

Such a fantastic article. It's amazing how J.Crew has changed their image in the last few years. Kristin is right-working for J.Crew seems like it would be amazing!
