My grandfather used to bring my family doughnuts every Saturday morning along with a rhyming typewritten note. I’d love to do the same for my grandchildren someday (but first, I guess I’d need children…). In addition to being a stellar prop, typewritten notes are really quite lovely. Especially when they come from a candy-colored piece of machinery. I’m saving my pennies for one of these royal typewriters found on Etsy – a pink or red one would serve me just fine. Are you lucky enough to have a typewriter at home?
