Break me off a piece of this. Above are a few of my favorite looks from RED Valentino's Pre Spring/Summer 2012 collection. Am I alone in thinking that it screams Lee Radziwill circa 1960? I’m flying to LA for a week on Monday (can’t wait!) and I would LOVE to by myself a new maillot de bain for the trip. I’m head-over-heels for the three above - particularly the sweet Miu Miu bikini in the center. To the left of the Miu Miu bikini we have Shimmi’s blondie star-print bikini, and to the right is Chloé’s scallopped textured bikini. Aren’t they darling? I’m interested to see what you plan to wear to the beach/pool this summer - I have such cute readers + I know your picks would make me hyperventilate. The photos in last week's Net-A-Porter magazine are gorgeous! I can't get enough of Spring's candy-colored hues. And those Sparrow-print Miu Miu pumps? I die. Is it wrong that one of my motivations for working hard is so I can buy shoes like these someday? Anyway, next week's Net-A-Porter magazine will be Grace Kelly-inspired -- can't wait to see what they come up with. In the meantime, be sure to take a peek at the site's current magazine (it's so girly and whimsical-- I've flipped through it at least fifteen times!).

Yesterday, J. Crew announced that they have teamed up with Net-A-Porter.com to go international. "Net-a-Porter will carry select items from J. Crew's collection along with exclusive styles and colours made especially for the site," writes a fabsugar.com report. Exclusive styles and colors?! If it turns out to be anything like their Spring 2010 collection, I'll be in heaven. I'm loving this season's muted, feminine palette.
P.S. -- speaking of Grace Coddington, does anyone else think that the collection's spring lookbook looks almost as if she could have styled it? Jenna Lyons is just that good!
