I spent yesterday afternoon at my friend Caroline’s adorable bungalow in Silver Lake. While sipping tea + flipping through the pages of Domino Quick Fixes (which was discovered at Whole Foods, of all places), we became inspired to do a photo shoot of our own! Caroline is a talented actress with amazing style, as clearly demonstrated in the above photos. Her Los Angeles bungalow is beyond darling, don’t you think? She and I are kindred spirits indeed :)

the carousel bangle watch

Upon viewing this instagram photo by Ms. Katie Evans, I became completely enamored by Kate Spade’s new line of wristwear. I’ve always found bangle watches to be very chic (my grandmother used to wear a gold one on special occasions), and I love brightly-colored enamel bracelets. The hybrid of these two elements is a wonderful, wonderful thing. Nordstrom has the entire line available for viewing here. Which watch do you fancy? My favorites are the above :)

kate spade on gifts

I love reading gift guides. Nothing makes me want to shop more! Especially when they’re written by someone like Kate Spade. The above photos are from two different – and very old, I might add – pieces that I re-discovered in my magazine collection last night. The cool thing is that her suggestions are just as fresh now as they were then! Scans one and two are from a 2004 InStyle feature. The third scan is from an unknown source (but I love it all the same). Oh, how I wish Kate Spade had a GOOP-esque newsletter so we could see what she's giving this year. I have a hunch that she would have some very good ideas :)

why don't you... travel in style?

Be it a short road trip or a cross-country flight, the majority of us are traveling somewhere this Thanksgiving holiday. And who isn’t game for a bit of traveling advice (or any advice, for that matter) from Kate Spade herself? I scanned a few pages from Mrs. Spade's Style for you to devour whilst packing for your holiday destination... I can only hope that it inspires you to travel in style! And remember, ladies: unless you're driving in the privacy of your own car, no sweatpants allowed! :)
