HAPPY FRIDAY, lovies! In lieu of lots of little mini-posts, I decided to create a large round-up of things that are currently on my radar. Let's begin, shall we? I'd love to have a yellow raincoat in Pantone's "mimosa" (it's almost the rainy season here in LA!) // Until I find a vintage Hudson's Bay Co. overcoat, I guess one of their cashmere scarves will do :) // Did you see Matchbook Magagazine's recent blog post on show dog topiaries? J'adore! // The recent buzz about cell phone radiation has me hankering for one of Yubtz's retro handsets // After listening to this story on All Things Considered, I'm dying to read Ann Beattie's Mrs. Nixon // I had a dream the other night about my grandmother's Christmas Spode... It's almost that time of year! // When I visited Sugar Paper's boutique last week, I fell in love with their raspberry "LOVE" print. Lo and behold, it's available for purchase on their website! // If you're looking for a new blue-red lipstick to try, why don't you give Nars' velvet matte lip pencil in "Dragon Girl" a go? It's my new favorite // If you're into vintage postage stamps, this etsy shop is total eye candy // Gwyneth Paltrow wrote about Best Made's be optimistic felt badge in the latest issue of GOOP. Isn't it sweet? // Who wouldn't love to sashay into a Holiday party wearing Marc Jacob's glitter-covered mouse flats? // J.Crew's leopard Edie bag was love at first sight - I want. // Finally, pomegranates are in season! I suggest running to your local farmer's market and picking up a few.... They're delicious in salads!

I adore J.Crew’s short film (which accompanied their Spring '08 collection) about a yellow handbag making its way through the streets of Rome. In my opinion, J.Crew is one of the few companies who produces tasteful (I.E. not cheesy) fashion films! I’m hoping that another on-location video accompanies their Spring '11 collection. Let’s see… they’ve been to Paris, Rome, Lisbon, the Scottish Highlands, Turks & Caicos, Argentina… I wonder where in the world they’ll go next!

J. Crew Interviews Those Girls

As I do not have a Behind the Curtain interview for this week, I shall direct you to the J.Crew website to check out their fabulous interviews with the incredibly talented women who grace the cover of their March catalogue. I'd like to thank Ms. Staley Mc for first point the interviews out to me in the first place! I've only read Amanda Brooks' interview so far-- can't wait to read the rest!

Yesterday, J. Crew announced that they have teamed up with Net-A-Porter.com to go international. "Net-a-Porter will carry select items from J. Crew's collection along with exclusive styles and colours made especially for the site," writes a fabsugar.com report. Exclusive styles and colors?! If it turns out to be anything like their Spring 2010 collection, I'll be in heaven. I'm loving this season's muted, feminine palette.
P.S. -- speaking of Grace Coddington, does anyone else think that the collection's spring lookbook looks almost as if she could have styled it? Jenna Lyons is just that good!
