iphone help!

My dear Papa bought me an iPhone this weekend-- bless his heart! Previously, I had a (rather beaten-up) blackberry. I love Verizon and had been waiting and waiting and waiting for the carrier to get the iPhone... but enough is enough! I couldn’t take it anymore. I’m SO thrilled to have made the switch... if I had known how fantastic the iPhone was, I don’t think I would have waited this long. Anyway, I thought I’d ask my smart readers to recommend their favorite apps. I immediately downloaded the NPR News app (the nerd in me couldn’t help herself), but I’m at a loss as to what other apps might be useful. Do you have any tips for this iPhone novice?!
