This morning, my friend Caroline texted me the above British Vogue photo of Inès de la Fressange in her Parisian apartment (she knows me so well!). The Francophile I am, I dashed to my tablet to download the publication's April issue. Lo and behold, the accompanying article - wherein Inès admits to wanting to throw her iPhone out the window each morning and says her car floors are covered in gum wrappers and crushed biscuits - was a great read. In other words, run to your nearest newsstand and pick up a copy!

While cruising Apple's Newsstand on my iPad last night, I discovered Air France's Madame. Have you read it before? C'est très magnifique! I was delighted to find a visual list of Inès de la Fressange's packing essentials in the magazine's most recent installment. I dream of one day owning Longchamp luggage (in case you're feeling generous, this in chocolate would do just fine). I also enjoy cashmere socks... Inès and I are practically twins! I thought for sure she'd include a pair of pristine white Converse sneakers here, mais non (the former model raves about them in her book, Parisian Chic).

If you get a chance, download a few issues of Madame during today's lunch hour. If anything, it's a terribly chic (and free!) mental vacation :)

I don’t know about you, but the book collector in me is itching to pre-order Inès de la Fressange’s new book, The Parisian Guide to Chic. Already published in France, the book will not be available in the States until April (is it crazy that I’m considering ordering the French version?). Last week, RDuJour posted a few pages of the book which feature Inès and her sixteen-year-old daughter Nine d'Urso modeling the classics... Don’t they make you want to pre-order, too?!
