kate spade's elephant basket

I’m hyperventilating over this cheeky wicker basket from Kate Spade’s Summer 2011 collection. I think I have a thing for accessories that look like animals (remember those Marc by Marc Jacob mouse flats?!). I’d love to hear your thoughts-- is this cute or petrifying?

Hahaha I'd say simultaneously cute and petrifying. Please, do get it and wear it with the mouse flats! A mouse is an elephant's best friend, right?!

this is a yes!! it will look so cute with a fun summer dress.

Adorable. Want, need. But this is coming from a girl who has 3 pairs of the mouse flats that I have acquired over time.

it's adorable! wonder if it's big enough for a mini-picnic..

If Jane Birkin went to the London zoo, this is the bag she would take! And if it's good enough for Jane.... Lovely post - thanks for sharing! x

I think it's adorable but would serve best as a basket for your home than as a purse!

PRECIOUS!! I would tie a scarf around it and carry it all summer long!
