jackie uncensored

Shortly after her husband’s assassination, Jacqueline Kennedy recorded a series of seven interviews with historian Arthur M. Schlesinger Jr. regarding her life in the Kennedy White House. She knew that Camelot had had a profound effect on the American public and felt it her responsibility to preserve her memories and observations for history’s sake. This September, 20/20 will air an abridged version of the interviews during a prime-time special hosted by Diane Sawyer. CDs of the recordings (which total a whopping 8.5 hours!) will also be available for purchase in conjunction with the feature. Should you so desire, you can pre-order it on Amazon right this second. I’m so thrilled to get my hands on a copy, I can’t even begin to tell you! We all admire Jacqueline as a style icon - to have the opportunity to understand her as a person is truly a gift.
