diptyque discussion

I'm in the market for a new diptyque candle. I'd like to try a new scent, but since they're such a luxury for me (I buy one at a time and burn it sparingly!) I thought it smart to consult you first. My previous candle was baies, which was wonderful. Next, I'd like to try something floral + have been thinking about one of the three above... any sage words of wisdom?

Hello. While I can't really recommend a candle (although I am partial to gardenias), I just wanted to say how much I enjoy your blog. It's a joy to read.

This doesn't count as a floral, but my personal favorite is Figuier (yes, even more than Baies!) Having said that, I think Roses is lovely as well.
Do you purchase the big ones or the little ones? I think the big ones are so useful (to do things like hold make-up brushes when they're used up), but I love having different scents all the time and often end up buying the "babies."

Not a floral scent, but my favorite is Feu de Bois (wood fire). It is HEAVENLY! I love it, it's warm and slightly spicy and very homey.

I use gardenia and I LOVE it.

While I love Roses, my favorite Dyptique scent is Violette.

Try coriandre or just rose ~ they both are equally divine.
