My friend Natalie posted these classic shots of Jackie O. to her blog the other day. She scanned the images in from a 1972 issue of Life that she picked up while vacationing in California. Aren’t they lovely? If you weren’t already aware, I’m a bit obsessed with Life Magazine-- I couldn’t resist the urge to repost! Natalie scans in cool images all the time and has the most fantastic taste... you’re missing out if you’re not following her, I tell you!

I will never get tired of photos of Jackie!! Just adore her. And I know what you mean about Life mag., I spend way too much time browsing their website, and drive my husband crazy by picking up every vintage copy I run across in antique stores!

Shots are by Ron Galella, infamous paparazzo (who, by the way, is still shooting). Jackie got a restraining order against him. The one of her walking across the street though, is my all-time favorite of her.
