chez trina

A few weeks ago, Matchbook Magazine graciously gave me the opportunity to interview fashion designer Trina Turk at her Los Angeles Home. I think it’s safe to say that I’d count my few hours spent chez Trina among the best in my life! Walking into her home is not unlike entering the utmost glamorous Palm Springs retreat. Warm and colorful yet sleek and modern, it was, essentially, the Trina Turk line embodied in an interior. You, of course, can see for yourself in the March issue of Matchbook Magazine (Ms. Bonnie Tsang captured it beautifully). Oh, and in person? Trina Turk (yes, that is her real name :) is absolutely wonderful! Above are a few personal instagrams from the occasion. You can view more by browing through my archive here! x

Congratulations on writing such a wonderful feature on Trina! I thoroughly enjoyed reading this past month's Matchbook Magazine and I loved the segment on the queen of tribal resort chic!!! Great collection of photos above and I can only imagine how fabulous her home must be. I hope you are enjoying your week and Happy Wednesday!! Be sure to stop by my blog to check out the redesign!

You lucky duck! In the shop I manage & buy for we sell Trina Turk and her pieces are among my faves:) Just today I wore her 'Canaday' top! Her line of home goods is pretty fab, too.
