caroline scheeler of jayson home & garden

I jumped with joy yesterday when I saw the cover of CS Interiors' winter 2010 issue-- it was a photo of none other than caroline scheeler's (creative director of chicago-based jayson home & garden) Wayne, Illinois home. I bet many of you remember the widely circulated photos of Caroline's home that appeared in the October 2009 issue of Country Living, so you can understand my excitement! CS Interiors used photos taken with a wide-angle lens, which gives the reader a more complete profile of her home.

I've always loved the first photo photo, as seen in Country Living, because of the artwork above Caroline's children. Looking at the art from the bigger perspective of Caroline's living room, I love it even more.
The colors and overall tone of the piece bring everything in this room together.
This room is so gorgeous! Again, I'm happy to see the large photograph
of the white horse in the larger context of her family room.

Same space, two different angles and propped totally differently. I love that CS included the bamboo table in this photo, but I think I prefer the way Country Living (in the first photo) propped it! I've never owned or maintained
a horse but I love all things equestrian.

CS didn't photograph Caroline's kitchen, but it's so beautiful
that I included the photo that was in Country Living.

A great feature! I'm so proud-- I interned at this magazine this summer.
