Alexa Hampton’s cozy New York office is featured as this week’s New York Social Diary House tour. I am ashamed to say that I do not know much about Ms. Hampton or her father, the late Mark Hampton. I’ve been meaning to pick up Mark Hampton’s book, Mark Hampton on Design, for ages... I wasn’t aware that Alexa had recently published a book, as well! I will certainly be adding Alexa Hampton: The Language of Interior Design to my mile-long Amazon wish list. One last thing-- can anyone identify that regal-looking title at the bottom of the center stack of books? I know they say not to judge a book by its cover, but it looks interesting!

Oh, what I would give to have a big, comfy, floral chair like that. And that book does look intriguing.
