a tour of jayson home & garden

This weekend, I visited the Chicago-based Jayson Home & Garden and brought my camera along to take some pictures. Their Lincoln Park boutique is my happy place-- where else can you find vintage taxidermy, diptyque candles, ikat quilts and amazing cowhide upholstered chairs all under the same roof?! Caroline Scheeler, the company's creative director, has such great taste and fills the shop with imported curiosities and one-of-a-kind statement pieces that surely you will not find anywhere else. This place is fantastic, my brother is at the Art Institute in Chicago and I've been dying to visit. I'm definitely going to add this to my must-see list!

Oh really? That's so cool! I've always dreamed of going The Art Institute. Jayson Home & Garden isn't that far from downtown-- only like a ten minute walk from the Armitage stop on the brown line. We should go together!
