a homage to hats

This fall marks the first time in my life that I am courageous enough to wear hats. Previously, I thought donning a hat to be slightly over-the-top, but I’ve had a drastic change of heart. Maybe I can blame it on the copious amounts of Mad Men I’ve been consuming as of late… Regardless, I can’t get enough! They're so beautiful, I almost wish they were still de rigueur as they were in the first half of the twentieth century. I’d love to know—what are your thoughts on hats? Are you wearing one this season?

I forgot that there are so many different types of hats -- and so many really cute ones I'd love to own! I think it's fantastic you're wearing hats this fall! I would join you, but I have a slight problem: my head always ends up being a little too big for hats. In no cases is it oversized, but I simply can't find a hat that looks right or fits. I'll keep trying though.

I'm so thrilled to hear this news! I've always been a hat person; I have hundreds of vintage hats in my childhood bedroom just waiting for an enormous closet to live in here in SF!
