This feature re: thick eyebrows in the September issue of Town & Country stopped me dead in my tracks. It’s as if they could read my mind! I, too, am a huge fan of Kate Middleton’s luscious brows, and have recently set out to thicken mine up. They were never thin to begin with, but I'd like them to make more of a statement (what I would give to to visit Anastasia Soare at her famous brow salon in Beverly Hills!). What is your take on thick eyebrows? Do you use a brow pencil? Which celebrity/icon/person of interest, in your opinion, has the best brows? 

matchbook magazine: the september issue

If you haven’t already heard, Matchbook Magazine’s September issue went live this morning! I know I always say this, but this issue is their best one yet. Really. vogue enfants: martine à la ferme

While I was walking to my car last night after work, I passed my favorite magazine stand just as the owner was unpacking the Septembre issue of Vogue Paris. My eyes almost popped out of my head! In Kansas City, the latest issue of Vogue Paris didn’t arrive until the end of the month. I didn’t realize until I got home that the editors also included the newest issue of Vogue Enfants as a surprise supplement. Upon this discovery, I literally squealed with delight - it’s absolutely adorable! Nestled inside this little magazine are two editorials that knocked my socks off. Heather Clawson posted the first, titled “1re de la Classe," a few days ago. The photos above are from the second, titled “Martine à la Ferme” - I scanned them in for your viewing pleasure :) Don’t you love? 

the chicest cat lady around

Growing up, I was terrified of cats. In recent years, though, I’ve had a total change of heart! It certainly seems like they’re the busy fashionista’s animal of choice, don’t you think? Grace Coddington, the industry’s chicest cat lady, actually published a book of feline sketches a few years ago. Like Ms. Coddington herself, The Catwalk Cats is both heartfelt + hilarious (not to mention, terribly fashion forward). It’s currently at the top of my Amazon wish list (although I'd love to find a signed copy...). Do you have cats?

If some kind soul were to offer to buy me a car outright (hey, it could happen!), I’d definitely choose something like this 1972 tangerine BMW 2002tii. There are so many beautiful old cars about Los Angeles (I’m obsessed with this one in my neighborhood...). The warm weather here seems to make automobiles last much longer! I have to ask: If someone were to offer you a car, no strings attached, what would you choose?
