why don't you... travel in style?

Be it a short road trip or a cross-country flight, the majority of us are traveling somewhere this Thanksgiving holiday. And who isn’t game for a bit of traveling advice (or any advice, for that matter) from Kate Spade herself? I scanned a few pages from Mrs. Spade's Style for you to devour whilst packing for your holiday destination... I can only hope that it inspires you to travel in style! And remember, ladies: unless you're driving in the privacy of your own car, no sweatpants allowed! :)

You may have noticed that I no longer have my favorite blogs + links neatly listed in my sidebar. Indeed, they've found a new home! You'll find them in a new page called love - there is a permanent link located just under my header. I'm constantly updating it with my daily haunts (there are oh-so-many!) so you just might want to make a point + stop by once (or twice) a week. The coolest part about this new page? In addition to simply listing URLs, I also link to my favorite bloggers' social media accounts! (If you couldn't tell, social media makes me nerd out). I do hope you'll follow them :) As for moi? I'm on facebook, twitter + tumblr, too. I'm a bit self-conscience about upding my twitter account (I'm always second-guessing my tweets!), but I've promised myself that I'm going to make more of an effort. I’m assuming that – as much as we don’t like it – most of us will not be spending $2,160 (+ tax) on those Sofia Coppola for LV leopard silk pajamas. But never fear! J.Crew makes a comparable pair of PJs that are just as adorable. Their silk celestial pajama shirt + pant caught my eye in the December catalog – they made it into Jenna’s Picks. If they’re good enough for Ms. Lyons, they’re certainly good enough for me. I'm willing to bet money that Sofia fancies them, as well :)

The director worked alongside Julie de Libran, the label’s studio director, to craft each and every piece of their Resort '12 collection (it just screams Sofia). I’m sure you’ve seen this article in the November issue of Vogue by now... but just in case you hadn't, I felt compelled to scanned it in.
